An indoor group portrait photograph by C.J. Harvey showing folk-rock band Caamp. Captured in a medium wide shot standing indoors, five band members pose together in front of wooden doors and a wooden bookcase filled with books. The member in the front center wears a bright red "BASEBALL" sweatshirt and white trousers, flanked on the left by a band member in a dark blue blazer with a yellow-and-black striped shirt and light blue jeans, and on the far left by two members in dark jackets and a patterned coat. Longtime darlings of the Americana scene, Taylor Meier and Evan Westfall have somehow always found themselves as openers for some of the biggest tours in music.

The boys from Ohio, better known as Caamp, get a chance to headline this time around, supporting a fifth studio LP, Copper Changes Color, which is punchier than anything they’ve released before.

Bassist Matt Vinson, keyboardist Joseph Kavalec, and drummer Nicholas Falk are in the lineup alongside Meier and Westfall, with soulful indie-folk duo Whitney opening at Mahaffey Theater.

Tickets to see Caamp and Whitney at Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg on Saturday, Oct. 3 are still available and start at $66.
