Considering Amy Winehouse and her wild ways have already generated enough footage to last most folks a lifetime, a "documentary review" might seem unnecessary. But enthusiasts of the immensely talented British soul singer/songwriter with the penchant for scandal should take pleasure in this unauthorized bio that traces Winehouse's rise from daughter of a North London cab driver to English pop darling, concluding with the downward spiral that has reached new lows since the DVD's release. There are also a couple clips of her performing and a rather interesting segment that finds Winehouse opening up to Kelly Osbourne. 3 stars
