A volunteer clean up crew for the Purple Hatter’s Ball at the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park found a body floating face down in the campground’s lake, near the chapel, on Monday afternoon. After the Suwannee sheriff department arrived, they discovered that the male was the same person listed in a missing person’s case for a man from Sebastian, Florida (via Bullet Music)

Authorities identified the body as 25-year-old photographer and graphic designer, Scott Harlan Hausheer, a Sebastian River High School graduate who also attended Indian River State College in Fort Pierce.

According to Tallahassee ABC affiliate WTXL, Hausheer was last seen Saturday night leaving the Amphitheater stage of the festival. When his friends spoke to police, they said that they were informed by other festival goers that he was taken to the hospital for unspecified reasons. His friends returned home believing that he was still in the hospital.

There were no visible signs of trauma to Scott’s body, and foul play is not suspected at this time. Results from an autopsy are pending.
