Before you get your smoke on, don’t forget that Saturday is one of the biggest days of the year for indie record shops.

This Record Store Day, Seminole Heights’ Microgroove won’t only be selling about 70 of those vinyl exclusives we long for, either.

Local power-pop-punk outfit Bad Bad Things and psychedelic-rock quartet House of I will grace Keith Ulrey’s beloved stage that came out of its COVID slumber not terribly long ago.

Oh, and if you really want that Joe Pesci exclusive album, don’t ask if the store can hold it for you, and just get there early. Per Record Store Day rules, you snooze, you lose.

There’s no cover for the Record Store Day party happening at Microgroove in Tampa on Saturday, April 20.
