Fans never have to go far to see trumpeter James Suggs or bandleader Bryan Hughes in action. They very rarely get to see them in venues as sanctimonious as Peace Memorial Church, a downtown Clearwater landmark where the jazz scene staples will play tunes by the Duke.

A $5-$10 donation will be accepted when James Suggs and Bryan Hughes play Peace Memorial Church in Clearwater on Sunday, Jan. 11.

Description CELEBRATE DUKE ELLINGTON: Come enjoy a jazzy popular music program of tunes from the Great American Songbook including many favorites made famous by Duke Ellington and his band. Among many great selections, you will hear “Satin Doll”, “Don’t Get Around much Anymore” and “Take the A-Train”. Seating is first come, first served. Doors open at 2:30. BRYAN HUGHES, vocalist and his great band THE CREW. Bryan is a talented Tampa Bay area singer who performs frequently with La Lucha and at the Palladium Side Door Jazz Programs and at many other festivals and jazz clubs.
