Courtney Love announced last summer she would slap the Hole name on her long-awaited (by someone) second solo effort Nobody's Daughter. Her band? No one from Hole. No Eric Erlandson. No Melissa Auf Der Maur. Some young kid named Micko Larkin on guitar.

Not long after, we heard from guitarist, songwriter, and co-founder, and – most importantly for legal purposes – co-owner of the Hole name, Eric Erlandson:

"There is no Hole without me," before adding: "If [Courtney] has a solo album together, I think that's great. I think she should finish it and put it out and do that. But as for the real Hole? I'm open to discussions."

In a response, Courtney twitter-ranted about Eric's role in her fucked up finances amidst her outrage. Who hasn't stolen money from her at this point?

Most recently, Courtney explains why she's resurrecting her old band's name. (Video after the jump)
