Seasoned Tampa Bay area jazz fans are familiar with Brazilian guitarist Diego Figueiredo, who’s a frequent visitor here.

His virtuoustic blend of bossa nova, jazz and classical aesthetics has been the hallmark of his nearly two dozen albums as bandleader and even led genre icon George Benson to call the Grammy-nominee “one of the greatest guitarists I’ve seen in my whole life.”

Diego Figueiredo headlines this Tampa Jazz Club matinee on Sunday, Feb. 4 inside Mainstage Theatre at Hillsborough Community College in Ybor City, and tickets start at $10.
