Dionne Warwick plays her first Tampa date in eight years on Wednesday

The only acceptable reason for shamelessly keeping your X (Twitter) account open is to keep up with Dionne Warwick.

That’s where thi R&B legend posts wholesome takes on the likes of Taylor Swift and Doechii, as well as some confusion about the bloated J.D. Vance memes. Away from socials, the 84-year-old Jersey girl started this year by continuing what has been described as her final world tour, loaded with hits penned by her longtime bestie Burt Bacharach.

While this intimate gig (her first local stop in eight years, and only announced about a month ago) isn’t listed under any specific run of dates, we’re reminded too often to treat every stop in town like it’s the last, so maybe do yourself a solid and don’t just walk on by.

Tickets to see Dionne Warwick play Hard Rock Event Center at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa on Wednesday, June 18 are still available and start at $90.
