Florida's music festival landscape just got a bit more crowded. We're barely two weeks away from 311's inaugural Pow Wow Festival in Live Oak. Langerado finally returns after a few-year hiatus to South Florida in October. Now, the minds behind the legendary annual Reading and Leeds festivals in England bring a big weekend of music to Central Florida this November. Orlando Calling will hit the Citrus Bowl on November 12 and 13.

Festival organizers' decision to divide bands across two days on the basis of modernity will likely inspire some debate, though I bet most concertgoers will be pleased. Indie and alt-rock favorites (such as The Killers, Pixies, Avett Bros.) dominate Saturday's lineup, while Sunday's more bluesy roster (Kid Rock, Marshall Tucker Band, Chris Isaak), maintains diversity but looks a little less hip.
