One of Tampa Bay live music fans’ favorite traditions is an annual acoustic “songs and stories” gig from two of our most prolific bluesmen, Selwyn Birchwood and Damon Fowler, who play St. Petersburg’s Palladium Theater on Wednesday, Dec. 7.

Birchwood—who opens for blues legend Bobby Rush in Safety Harbor next month—and southern rocker Fowler are both loaded with stories about their respective careers, and while we’re still hoping for the two to record together, these gigs are never something to pass up.
