Gasparilla Music Festival 2022 just got even better. Today, the three-day festival set for Feb. 25-27 in downtown Tampa added 19 new artists including alt-rock favorite Grouplove, Seattle rock favorite Band of Horses and GMF alum Margo Price, who first played the festival in 2015 under a different band name (Margo & the Pricetags).
Price went on to sign to Third Man Records which released her 2016 breakout Midwest Farmer’s Daughter.  Since then, she’s become an icon of the new outlaw country movement and left the storied label for Loma Vista, a division of Concord which is releasing her still-unamed new album.

Grammy-winning electro duo Bob Moses joins the lineup with a DJ set, along with Grammy-nominated Mardi Gras Indian funk band Cha Wa, exciting young Cuban pop star Cimafunk, New York indie-soul band Melt and more.

Also added to the lineup are a host of locals including recent Creative Loafing Tampa Bay cover boy Vinny Virgo, indie-pop Bay area expat Parrotfish, Florida rap collective seeyousoon, electro act Ortroasce, Lakeland’s dark lord of indie-rock Mrenc, songwriter Camille Trust, DJ Ku and more.
