The youngest son of Dolores Ferdinand Marsalis and Ellis Marsalis, Jr. comes to St. Petersburg on Thursday, and he’s bringing the vibes — as in vibraphones. The 42-year-old (brother of Branford and Wynton) is touring in support of a new album, Melody Reimagined, Book 1, that Jason Marsalis and Basin Records are releasing in coordination with the revered New Orleans record label’s 20th anniversary.
