This show has been rescheduled for December 11.
"Due to needed shoulder surgery planned for Jimmy Buffett, with time for recovery and therapy, it is necessary to reschedule the Friday, December 13, 2019 concert in Tampa to Friday December 11, 2020," a release from Amalie Arena said.
"All tickets purchased for the original show will be honored on the new date. Fans who cannot attend the new date can get refunds at point of purchase. Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band regret the postponement, but look forward to partying in 2020 in Florida!"
Parrotheads are in luck. Jimmy Buffett’s “Son Of A Son Of A Sailor High Tide” tour is coming to Tampa’s Amalie Arena on December 13 11.
This marks the first time CL has seen the 72-year-old trop-rock icon since he played the old Gary shed in 2017.
“We are thrilled and grateful to have Jimmy Buffett come to AMALIE Arena,” Kevin Preast, SVP of Event Management at Tampa Bay Sports and Entertainment, said in a release announcing the tour, which celebrates the 40-year anniversary of Buffet’s 1978 album Son Of A Son Of A Sailor.
Tickets go on sale Friday, September 27 at 10 a.m. and start at $36. There’s an eight ticket limit, and more information is at amaliearena.com.
