For years now, John Oates has been proving to audiences worldwide that he can put on a damn good show without his other half, Daryl Hall. Oates and The Good Road band is coming to Clearwater to prove it. The outfit released their collaborative album Arkansas last year, which pays homage to the state’s countryside and Oates’ interest in early American music. Oates has been consistently playing the Tampa area for upwards of a decade, but he makes his debut at the Bilheimer Cap this Friday.

John Oates with The Good Road Band. Fri., Nov. 22. 8 p.m. $25 & up. Bilheimer Capitol Theatre, 405 Cleveland St., Clearwater. rutheckerdhall.com
