A few months ago, I received an email announcement about the triumphant return of Langerado, the South Florida music festival that went away after two unsuccessful moves — the first from Markham Park in Sunrise, Fla. to the beautiful but rough (and harder-to-get-to) Seminole Big Cypress Indian Reservation in the Everglades for the 2008 edition, then to downtown Miami for the 2009 edition, which was eventually canceled due to poor ticket sales.

Produced by C3 Presents (Austin City Limits, Lollapalooza) in conjunction with Boros Entertainment, and spread out over three stages (one of those an electronica tent for dance party festivities), the newly re-vamped 2011 fest moves from spring to fall (the dates are October 8-9), it's back to a more manageable size and intimate atmosphere at Markham Park, and today, organizers revealed the majority of the 38 acts scheduled to perform. Heading up the fest are Death Cab for Cutie, Trey Anastasio Band, Ben Harper, Ween, and Thievery Corporation.

Also featured on the bill are Arctic Monkeys, G. Love & Special Sauce, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Wolfgang Gartner, Ghostland Observatory, Das Racist, Portugal. The Man, Friendly Fires, and others.

Deeply discounted two-day early bird tickets have sold out; a limited number of advance passes are now available at $150 in conjunction with today's lineup announcement. When this allotment sells out, prices will jump to $180. (Includes all service fees.) For tickets and show information, visit Langerado.com.
