If you have trouble describing the genre of the Los Angeles-based Chicano Batman, you’re in good company, because the Latin-rock band encapsulates countless genres—including psychedelic soul, funk, indie, and tropicalia—on its four full-length albums. Its LP, titled Invisible People, doesn’t come out until May 1, but that didn’t stop the west coast quartet from announcing a nationwide tour in support of it.

The gig comes less than a year after Chicano Batman played Crowbar a few blocks away.

Tickets to see Chicano Batman play Orpheum in Ybor City on June 19 are on sale now, starting $22. Le Butcherettes opens the show.
