Melodic, St. Pete punk trio Lot Lizards is finally unveiling a debut album, and celebrating with a lineup of who’s-who in local punk-rock.

According to Lizards frontman Jon Barnes, The Horrors of Adulting (released on the five-year-old, Columbus-based Punkerton Records) is exactly what the title sounds like: 26 minutes of regrets behind growing up too fast.

“Being an adult is shitty most of the time. We were so fucking stupid for wanting it so bad when we were younger,” Barnes said.

Opening the Pinellas Ale Works Show are Rath & The Wise Guys, Arcane Arcade, Abortion Twins and Low Cards.

Tickets are $10 at the door for Lot Lizards album release party happening Friday, Aug. 1 at Pinellas Ale Works in St. Petersburg.
