Man, the rap game's been in a little legal trouble as of late. Last week we told you about Lil' Boosie's impending murder charge then Rick Ross getting sued for, well, being Rick Ross.
Now, in the latest of these Legal woes, former Wu-Tang Clanner and succesful solo artist, Method Man has plead guilty to a tax evasion charge put on him today. He, apparently, wrote a $40,000 check as restitution payment for the cool $106,000 he owed.
From Billboard…
The former Wu-Tang Clan member was arrested Oct. 9 on charges he failed to pay state and personal income taxes. He pleaded guilty to a charge of attempted failure to pay tax.
He was sentenced to a conditional discharge, which means the arrest will be purged from his record if he stays out of trouble.
"When he found out about the tax issue he hired someone and immediately corrected it," defense attorney Peter Frankel said. "He took care of it quickly like the good member of our community he is."
…Like the good member of the community he is. Well, that settles it. Bring your kids over to Meth's house for pizza, cake, and video games next Saturday ya'll!
