It’s a wonder that Ray LaMontagne brings his music on the road.

Yes, we’ve all got to make money, but more than perhaps any other singer-songwriter, the 51-year-old makes quiet and increasingly-soulful folk and rock that calls for introspection.

He continues the work on a new album Long Way Home which features backing vocals from goosebump-inducing duo The Secret Sisters which opens the latest of LaMontagne’s pilgrimages to the Bay area.

UPDATE Due to Hurricane Helene, this show has been rescheduled for Sunday, Sept 29.
Tickets to see Ray LaMontagne play Duke Energy Center at Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg on Thursday, Sept. 26 are still available and start at $43.
