David Borné believes everyone will eventually make it to heaven. But first, he wants you to join him in Clearwater.

Borné tells a story of personal healing on his debut album Genesis, released in 2023, pitching a second chance at a relationship later in life and explaining that upping your medication isn’t always the solution to silencing intrusive thoughts.

The Nashville-based singer-songwriter (a facilitator for Bars Beyond Bars, a songwriting program for incarcerated youth that helps “express deep emotion and process past experiences through creative expression”) is focusing on mostly playing small shows these days, including this Wiley House concert on Rogers Street that’s part of a springtime run of Florida shows.

Tickets start at $28 for David Borné at Music4Life, happening Saturday, May 17 in Clearwater.
