The experimental folk music outfit just keeps getting more out there with each album. Need to spin this a few more times, but as far as I can tell, Sub Verses continues in Akroon's 'WTF?' direction of screaming prog rock marked by drawn-out instrumentals, heady lyrics and tribal-flavored experimentalism along with the usual all-to-brief melodic interludes.
