Black Pus, All My Relations (Thrill Jockey)

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Specter at the Feast (Abstract Dragon/Vagrant)
The grinding, guitar-roaring garage-blues-psych rock band BRMC mourns late mentor and producer Michael Been (and in bassist Robert Levon Been, a father) on their hugely anticipated seventh studio full-length, its recording following his untimely death in 2010. Rolling Stone has already deemed it superb and noted, "it captures the group not only at their fiery best ('Rival,' 'Teenage Disease'), but also at their most emotionally open on the sweet 'Lullaby' and the gorgeous 'Returning.'" Check out "Let the Day Begin" after the jump, along with the rest of this week's new releases…
