Two decades after introducing rap fans to his New Orleans drawl, Mr. Spitta Andretti is still at it.

Fresh off a collaborative album with New York producer Harry Fraud, the 44-year-old better known as Curren$y where he big ups his mom (she pushed him to drop all the extra stuff and just rap), and reflects on a time in his life when he literally couldn’t afford to keep the lights on.

He brings an insatiable drive and one of the South’s most unique deliveries to north Tampa’s Orpheum (he played last last location of the venue in 2017) for this special gig later this month.

Tickets to see Curren$y play Tampa Orpheum on Thursday, April 24 are still available and start at $35.
