This Friday, July 10, more than 45 countries will shift to a global album release date, which means that new music around the world will all come out on the same day, Fridays from now on.

Thus, New Music Tuesday is shifting formats slightly, to New Tunes Day. (I bet you dig that play on words, eh?) Instead of a curated list of what's out today — since new music will no longer come out on Tuesday — I'll be offering a curated look at fresh videos created for already-dropped 2015 LPs, stand-alone singles and cuts off forthcoming LPs, remixes, and anything else that's fresh. I'll also offer a condensed peek at what's to come on Friday, with links to full album streams included…

Goat, "It's Time For Fun"
The lead track off a forthcoming 7" release from the weirdo Swedish psychedelic/No Wave rock band, which has been working on new material and recorded the two cuts while on tour; A-side's "It’s Time For Fun" in New York, while the B-side, "Relax," was laid down in Sao Paolo. The 7" drops September 25 on Sub Pop.
Naytronix, "Mr. Devine"
I'm digging the title track off the forthcoming sophomore album from Naytronix, the pseudonym of soul/electro musician and tUnE-yArDs bassist Nate Brenner. It's got that grooving, trippy appeal, easy-going yet somehow stealthy and surreal with serene breathy-sighing vocals. Check it out below; Mr. Devine drops October 16 via City Slang.

Bilal featuring Kendrick Lamar, "Money Over Love"
The Grammy-nominated neo-soul artist dropped a new LP last week, and followed it up with a premiere of the music video for this single featuring a personal favorite and album of the year contender, Kendrick Lamar; Bilal appeared on two tracks of Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly and the Compton rapper returns the favor with a tight focused guest spot. Adding value is another fave, multi-instrumental force-of-nature producer Adrian Younge, so it's packed with plenty of drama and urgent driving soul. Me loves it. I do believe Curtis Mayfield would be impressed. In Another Life is out now via eOne music.

This band from Halifax is being touted as Nova Scotia’s best kept secret, although I can't really think of any other artists from that particular neck of Canada, so I'd venture anything coming out of there could be deemed a 'secret.' Regardless, the quartet has a sort of loose, Velvet Underground quality that is rather appealing. The release describes debut full-length Whine of the Mystic — due out this Friday on Paradise of Bachelors — as "equal parts shambling and sophisticated, with one eye on the dirt and one trained on the starry firmament, inhabiting a skewed world where songwriter, singer and rhythm guitarist Nigel Chapman’s odes to NASA and the Earth’s magnetic field coexist easily with songs about insomnia and drinking too much." Stranger Cat, "Sirens"
And now, a new video of dreaming and dancing from grooving electro-pop songstress Cat Martino, aka Stranger Cat, co-directed by Martino and Andre Costantini. In The Wilderness is out now on Joyful Noise Recordings.
