“We are not a ‘satanic-crusader’ type of band but rather one of the many bands that represent the dark side in nowadays Metal music,” the band explained.

Rotting Christ—which plays Orpheum in Ybor City on Saturday, May 14—brings a new single “Holy Mountain” to a soon-to-relocate metal stronghold along with Norway’s Borknagar (whose drummer-keyboardist Lars Nedland lends vocals to “Holy Mountain”) and three rising stars of the genre: Stormruler, Abigail Williams and Ghost Bath.
