Peelander-Z, the Japanese punk band straight out of a comic book, returns to Tampa this month

Dads who love IPA, with kids super into K-pop, have we got a show for you. Grab your three-eyed Furby and head to Orpheum on your “Bike bike bike.”

Revered and road-tested and costumed Japanese-American punk rock band Peelander-Z calls Austin, Texas home these days, but if you ask, they hail “from the Z area of Planet Peelander.” Also, the neon monochrome suits are their skin. We don’t make the rules.

Tickets to see Peelander-Z play Tampa Orpheum on Thursday, May 22 are still available for $22.97.
