Backed by an uber-tight, 7-piece repertoire (featuring founding Tedeschi Trucks Band drummer J.J. Johnson), the soft-spoken, soulful-ass, blues guitar whiz finally brought his latest, star-studded album JPEG Raw to Tampa’s Hard Rock Event Center last Thursday. Clark, 41, also made a point to cover all corners of his career as uniquely as possible, closing his set with early cut “Don’t Owe You A Thang” and going into Bob Dylan mode (strapping on an acoustic guitar and harmonica holder) for 2015’s “Church.”
