Tampa Bay concert announcements continue to fill up news feeds, and we’ve got another one here with the return of Absolution Fest, which comes back to Ybor City in October 2021. After a two-year hiatus, the three-day event is bringing the “best artists within the Post-Punk, Industrial, Darkwave, and Synthpop scenes” to Crowbar (Oct. 7-8) and Orphuem (Oct. 9).

Headliners include Austin “self-destructive synthpop” artist Mr. Kitty with,” the Vancouver-based post-punk, new wave quartet Actors (stylized ACTORS) and Philly electro-pop duo Korine.

The bill also includes: Kanga (stylized KANGA), Curse Mackey, Rosegarden Funeral Party, Bellwether Syndicate, Astari Nite,The Kentucky Vampires, Kiss of the Whip, Hallows, Death Loves Veronica, Sine (stylized SINE), Cold Medicine, Gulf Blvd.
