Three local and new-ish bands take to a St. Petersburg venue getting lots of attention lately thanks to a June 26 show where pricing is different for folks depending on the vaxx status.

Olde Rage, self-described as “North Pinellas' most unknown quinquagenarian classic punk rock band” is making its 727 debut after recently playing the Brass Mug (to save you the Google, a quinquagenarian is someone between the age of 50 and 59). Return to Saturn has played out quite a bit since it’s 2020 formation and by the looks of the lead-singer’s early-Gwen Stefani look I’ll take a guess that the band’s name is paying homage to No Doubt’s fourth album “Return of Saturn.”

The heavy Boney Fiend—also quinquagenarian—has been around longer, playing out since about 1994 at any venue that can handle the “drinking band with a rock 'n' roll problem.”

This 21 and up show is a good, old-fashioned no pre-sale, $5-at-the-door kinda gig.
