After bouncing around a bit, drummer Rod Alnord has found a new home for his jazz jam session, which along with the DI Jazz Nights and In The Pocket at Corner Club, is one of just a few opportunities for local jazz musicians to get onstage and improvise.

New World’s biergarten hosts as Alnord, together with bassist Ruben Davila (aka Rugawd), pianist Nick Peters and saxophonist Ross Strauser open the mic on a new chapter.

There’s no cover for Chops Jam Session with Rod Alnord Quartet happening Thursday, March 27 at New World Brewery in Tampa.
