"Girls just wanna have fun-damental rights." That sentiment was plastered all over hand painted signs at this weekend's global Women's Solidarity March (including the one in St. Petersburg, Florida, which officials say drew over 20,000 people). Now Cyndi Lauper, the icon who provided inspiration for the catchphrase, is coming to Tampa to kick off a summer tour.

This morning, Amalie Arena announced that Lauper, 63, and Rod Stewart will join forces and kick off an 18-date summer tour in Tampa on July 8. 

Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, January 27 at 10 a.m. EST. They'll cost $31-$141 before service charges and are available online or at the Amalie Arena box office. Combined, the duo have sold over 250 million records worldwide.
