
While the ivories may still be a bit of an afterthought when it comes to rock music, Henri Herbert—a Nashvillian-turned-Englishman with over 100 million views on YouTube—strives to resume the ancient art of keeping the piano-based rock subgenre that is boogie-woogie alive.
Herbert, whose resume includes sessions with Nas and Bryan Adams respectively, says he’s working on material for an album due out later this year, so don’t be shocked if you hear something brand new at this intimate cabaret show.
