After a summer break, the folks at Safety Harbor Art and Music center are back with local favorite Selwyn Birchwood on Friday night. Though from Tampa, Birchwood has gotten worldwide critical acclaim including winning the International Blues Challenge in 2013. Birchwood has been cranking out blues-rock tunes since he was 17, including his early 2021 release Living in a Burning House which is a lot more fun than the title portrays. The rain or shine concert will cost you $5 more if you wait until Friday to buy your ticket. And bring your mask because you’ll need it to go to the bathroom.
