If your relatives are staying for the week, and you need a low key concert to go to, then pack ‘em up and head to the quaint seaside town of Safety Harbor where one of Tampa Bay’s best songwriter nights has been happening for the better part of six years.
Josh Reilly is the ringleader for Melody Artisans of the Crooked Thumb where he welcomes songwriters of every level to the stage. Each bi-weekly installment features a theme he’d like the performers to tackle by writing a new song, then performing it, as part of their set. On Dec. 28, the artisans will tackle “Beginnings.”
