Eddie Van Halen no longer walks this earth, and we don’t even know what David Lee Roth’s deal is. The good news, however, is that Sammy Hagar and original Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony are the best of friends.

And while equipped with Jason Bonham on drums and Vic Johnson on guitar, their band The Circle flies through a setlist featuring classic rock standards and of course, mainly Hagar-era Van Halen cuts. =

George Thorogood—who recently recovered from an undisclosed, “very serious medical condition”—is set to open this gig with The Destroyers, along with local guitar hero Damon Fowler.
