A few days ago, the Floridian Social issued a low ticket warning for its upcoming hometown gig with Seranation, self-proclaimed purveyors of “swamp reggae rock.”

The Florida-based reggae-pop outfit has been touring throughout the Southeast and beyond for the last six or so years, but is bringing its unique trop-rock sound back to its motherland with openers Ichroniq, Brother Within, & Hula Gans in tow.

Although Seranation hasn’t released an album since 2018’s Livin’ the Dream, fans can still expect to hear newer singles like “It’s Alright” and “Birds of Paradise.”

There’s only a few tickets left for Seranation’s St. Pete show at the Floridian Social on Friday, May 31, and they run from $20-$30. Subscribe to Creative Loafing newsletters.
