Allison spent 2018 opening for Liz Phair and was last in Florida that same year opening for Paramore on a tour that didn’t stop in Tampa Bay. Next month’s visit comes in support of Soccer Mommy’s latest album color theory, which was easily one of 2020’s best. In lieu of touring last year,  Allison released deluxe binder versions of the album as well as EPs featuring demos of select color theory tracks. She also worked with other indie-rock favorites like Jay Som and Beabadoobee for a “Soccer Mommy & Friends” singles series.
