It’s been a pretty solid six months for Chas Binns and his friends in Liquid Pennies. The St. Pete psych-rock outfit dropped the A-Wake Ending EP in January—described by Binns as “the most accurate representation of our live sound with far fewer embellishments than any of our other releases, but staying true to our love of being unpredictable sonically”—and a mini East coast tour promoting it went down earlier this year.

The guys also performed some source material of a surprise remix EP at Daddy Kool Records on Record Store Day, and rocked Lost in St. Pete last month.

The band is joined by a who’s who of the 727 rock scene—The Venus, Chaunces and Nic Hamersly’s latest project Skinner Follie—open the show.

Tickets to see Liquid Pennies play Floridian Social in St. Petersburg on Thursday, June 15 are still available for $10.
