In October, St. Pete indie punk band Rutterkin finally released its long-awaited debut album A Portal For Spirits, and even sold limited-edition splatter vinyl copies on Bandcamp.

Unfortunately, the band just hasnโ€™t had a safe enough state of mind to play a show promoting the release. โ€œCOVID curtailed our plans for doing it earlier,โ€ the band told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay. That changes on Friday at The Bends in St. Petersburg.

Finally, four months later, Ryan Metcalf, Chris Stellern, Dave Conrad, and James Pendleton are ready to hold an official release party, with some killer local support beside them. Gainesville pop-punk band You Vandal opens the free, 21 & up show along with Bad, Bad Things, featuring members of Career.
