Most weirdos find their way down to Florida, but Walter Parks did it backwards by jumping from Jacksonville to Jersey City. Famous for a stint in Richie Havens’ band as well as some time spent in a folk duo called The Nudes, Parks arrives at the UU Dome to share swampy, expertly picked gospel blues that’ll have you stomping your boots and using Kleenex to dab tears from eyes, too.
