Synth-pop hero Howard Jones coming to Clearwater this summer

You may not remember the name, but you’re lying to yourself if you never heard “New Song” or even “What Is Love?” at some point in your life. You’ll get to hear both live when Howard Jones brings his new “Dialogue” tour to Clearwater’s Bilheimer Capitol Theatre this summer.

Tickets to see Howard Jones at the Bilheimer Capitol Theatre in Clearwater on Saturday, July 23 are now on sale, and start at $40. Joining him will be Ultravox lead singer Midge Ure.

This tour is set to promote a new, third electronic album from Jones, which will share a name with the tour. And if you remember, Jones was supposed to have an acoustic trio show at St. Pete College’s Palladium in, of all months, March 2020. I’ll let you guess what happened to that show.

In the meantime, go listen to HoJo’s first two electronic albums from 2015 and 2020, and alert your dad that the Clearwater show will not be a spoken-word ordeal.
