Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival w/Michael Bolton When a man loves a woman, he brings her to Busch Gardens’ Food & Wine Festival for an afternoon of noms, nuzzly-wuzzlies and fuzzy navels. Sometimes, if he’s lucky, Michael Bolton will be there to play soul provider. That’s exactly the case on Sunday when the 65-year-old soft-rock crooner headlines a concert included with admission (it’s extra for VIP seating). You can go the distance after the show, lovers, so resist the urge to take Bolton literally when he sings “Can I Touch You There.” (Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival, Tampa) INFO

Backyard Rock Show with Funky D/Elliott Dickinson/Chris Barbosa Tampa Bay’s rich house show tradition continues with this backyard gig featuring Funky D (Darryl Quesenberry from LinkedIn, duh) who’ll be rocking with Boxcar Hollow’s Chris Barbosa and Elliott Dickinson. It’s BYOB and customary to bring food to share with the crowd. If you’re feeling extra proper, then bring $15 as suggested donation for the band and a little more scratch to spend at Hello Darlin’ Records. The travelling record store is helmed by CL contributor (and former Food & Drink editor) Arielle Stevenson), who will DJ and sell vintage vinyl at the gig. We’d normally tell you to ask a punk about the exact address of this St. Pete show, but you might have to seek out a Deadhead friend for this particular one. (House Show, St. Pete)
