There’s rarely a local bill this stacked with vastly different types of Tampa Bay music. The charming indie melodies of St. Pete-based Book Club juxtapose with the King Gizzard-esque breakdowns of post-punk band Bornite Carnation. Glaze’s hazey synth-pop sound balances out the sharp howl of Fever Beam’s guitar.

Of note is that the show is the final date of a winter tour by AJ Peterson (pictured), who started recording under Open Culture while living in Baltimore before eventually forming a band and moving it to Tampa. Hooch and Hive is the place to be on Thursday night if you’re an eclectic local music lover.
