Singer-songwriter Shae Krispinsky is back after performing just one show since the pandemic started (with Will Quinlan in November 2020). Krispinsky is also a writer, her short story “Carpe Nocturn” just got published in The Dillydoun Review, which makes sense with the amazing storytelling that comes through in her songs.

For this free Sunday show, expect more of a greatest hits set list. “I have two new songs (one newish; I played it at my last show, but I still consider that new for me) and then a completely new one,” Krispinsky—who fronts Tampa band Navin Ave.—told CL. “Otherwise, I haven’t been working on much new stuff, unfortunately. I didn’t find the pandemic very inspiring!” Same Shae, same.

In regards to masks and all that COVID-19 stuff, New World’s General Manager Clay Parkinson told CL that, “At New World we have also loosened the requirements outdoors but are requiring masks indoors.” Parkinson plans on having a weekly meeting with staff to adapt to the ever-changing climate.
