This is much better than storing your records in that Ikea thing that's sorta hard to build.

On Sunday, April 15, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Alamo Design Co. is teaming up with Indie Flea to raffle off this mid-century inspired, walnut record console in honor of Record Store Day. All ticket proceeds will be donated to Instruments of Change, which impacts the lives of at-risk youth through the gifts of instrument donation, instruction and performance.

Alamo founder Gabe Tavarez incorporates iconic elements into much of his work, but draws satisfaction from creating pieces clients love, regardless of the style, but he also knew that "the end goal wasn't only to turn a passion into business, but to find creative and thoughtful ways to support local community through our work."

"This is our first, small step on the path to becoming the company we want to be: a company that gives back to the community that makes it all possible," he wrote online.

Indie Flea at Armature Works in Tampa is where Alamo Design Co. will display the piece and facilitate sales. The raffle tickets will cost $5 (one ticket), $20 (five tickets) and $60 (15 tickets).

Additional tickets can be procured by drinking Commune + Co. coffee (bring proof of purchase of any item(s) from Union by Commune + Co and get two raffle tickets for the price of one).
