In terms of booking national heavy metal/hard rock acts, it’s been a pretty damn good year for Tampa’s Brass Mug. In February, Nita Strauss tore it down, and in very late March, Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain warmed up for Maiden’s impending fall tour.

This weekend, Fate DeStroyed is on deck and set to play the Brass Mug on Sunday.

The Los Angelino outfit blends trap with death metal, including on its latest single, “Mutation.” The five-piece, fronted by Franccesca De Struct, is now on its “Exorcism Tour,” with fellow metal group Living Dead Girl.
