If you’re looking for a great way to spend a weekend, check out the 2010 Wanee Music Festival in Live Oak, this years scheduled to occur April 16-17. Promoters have just announced the lineup and it sounds like a weekend full of good music. The Allman Brothers headline their fest as usual with guests Widespread Panic joining them and a pretty rad bill of acts providing supporting, including Gov’t Mule (which plays here this Thursday), Dr. John, George Clinton & P-Funk, North Mississippi Allstars, Stephen Stills, JJ Grey & Mofro, The Black Keys, Derek Trucks and Susan Tedesci, Particle, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, Bob Weir and several others filling in the additional slots. There’s even a Kick Off Party beginning Thursday, April 15, starting at 3 p.m.
