It’s not often you get a small-room experience with a Grammy-winning artist, but The Attic at Rock Brothers at Rock Brothers offers Ybor City just that on November 14 with John Paul White.

The solo acoustic show will be redemption for fans of The Civil Wars (White’s former band), which was booked at the Tampa Theater in 2013 before it called off the tour and decided to part ways.

Since then, White’s solo project has flourished, earning praise from the likes of NPR and Rolling Stone who lauded his raw talent and songwriting ability. White’s recent album, The Hurting Kind, harkens back to ‘60s Nashville thanks to lush, emotive storytelling that promises to translate magically inside an intimate venue like the Attic.

Tickets are $20-$30 and available via eventbrite.com.
