Guitarists: you're gonna love this edition of The Inbox (see yesterday's here). Kicking it off are Carl Bromel (My Morning Jacket) and Nathanael Larochette (Musk Ox/The Night Watch) playing some quiet acoustic, which ou might not see in their normal work.

For now we've snuck in a little indie-pop c/o Suburban Living, who are giving fans a sneak peak of their LP due tomorrow, and we are definitely super-stoked on a new LP from Miami garage scuzz-trio Jacuzzi Boys.

We'll be adding more songs as the day goes on…

Carl Broemel will set out on his headlining tour in support of his new solo LP 4th of July (Stocks in Asia/Thirty Tigers). To celebrate, the My Morning Jacket Guitarist has also released this grogeous video for the song “Crawlspace” directed by Eric Hopper and shot against the lush backdrop of a winery outside Seattle, WA

Almost Paradise is a bold and sweeping album that expands upon the bedroom dreampop of Suburban Living's 2015 eponymous debut. The album was written across 2015, a year after Bunch moved to Philadelphia from Virginia Beach, VA and found himself working through both a heartbreak and the sense of disjointedness that comes with relocation. The resultant is a coming-of-age breakup album that looks at the loss of love and friends, and the unmoored feeling that comes with change and finding a new sense of home.

Nathanael Larochette, in cooperation with Progressive Music Planet, offers up a performance video for the track "Awaken." The serene hymn comes by way of Earth And Sky, an elegant double solo album self-released this past Summer. Watch the video below.

The Dig have a debut album Bloodshot Tokyo in February 2017. Today SPIN premirered "Simple Love," the first single from the forthcoming release, saying “'Simple Love' leads with a jovial organ hook that’s punctuated with twinkling synths and upbeat drums. Singers Emile Mosseri and David Baldwin still coo as wistfully as they did before, but their voices take on a more whimsical, perky tone. It’s excellently composed pop that manages to cross genres while simultaneously sounding fresh."

"The ‘Small Bill$’ video takes place in a magical world of bears, nesting dolls and mermaids,” explains Regina Spektor. “We had fun green screen filming and exploring hand drawn animation, hair and make up transformations. Steven Mertens (who happens to be an art friend all the way back from college days at SUNY Purchase, and played bass in the Moldy Peaches along with my husband Jack Dishel 🙂 ) directed it in LA. Hope you have fun watching it!”

Regina, we love you and are glad you're back.

Miami's Jacuzzi Boys will release their fourth album, Ping Pong, on October 28 and after two albums on Hardly Art, will release this new one on their own label, Mag Mag. The band relocated to the West Coast for an extended period to make the album, holing up in an LA studio where some of the album was written. The second single from Ping Pong is “Lucky Blade,” which Iggy Pop played on his BBC show and got an online premiere from Pretty Much Amazing today. Hear it below.

Acclaimed Dirty Projectors’ guitarist/vocalist Amber Coffman unveils her new video today for “All To Myself.” The song is the first offering from her forthcoming Columbia Records debut solo album, City Of No Reply.

The video, elegantly directed by Amber and shot by Jake Magee, thrums like a revelatory postcard from the soul, depicting Amber on a seaside stroll over a breath-taking ocean landscape. The new song is the perfect introduction to Amber’s forthcoming solo album, highlighting her lulling vocal delivery that transports the listener, with the winsome Coffman gracefully in command of every note.
