Crime in Stereo w/Become The Ruined/World Stands Aside The Long Island five-piece mixes elements of revivalist punk and melodic hardcore in a style reminiscent of The Offspring, but with more echoing guitar solos and less playfulness in their delivery. Crime in Stereos fourth album, I Was Trying to Describe You To Someone, dropped February via Bridge Nine Records. 8 p.m., Orpheum, Ybor City, $8.
Zach Deputy [pictured] w/Wisebird While Zach Deputys technique is similar to that of one-man band Keller Williams he records and loops his own backup beats and instrumentals live, then sings and plays acoustic guitar over them the singer-songwriters style and sound are completely different. The SC artist fuses elements of roots rock, funky blues, hip-hop, R&B and reggae, his soulful delivery marked by bee-boxing, scatting, and the occasional Michael Jackson-style vocal hiccups. 8 p.m., Push Ultra Lounge, St. Petersburg, $10
Rev. Peyton's Big Damn Band This family trio made up of vocalist/fingerstyle guitarist Peyton, , his washboard playing wife, Breezy, and his younger brother/drummer Jayme purveys a howlin, high-spirited brand of country-fried blues direct from the backwoods of rural Indiana. 8 p.m., Crowbar, Ybor City, $10.
